So this week was fantasy suites and for the season we have had so far I’d say it was one of the least interesting so far. The main thing I took out of this episode was awkwardness around every corner.
We start where we left off at the end of last week’s rose ceremony as Maddison pulls Peter aside and gives him an ultimatum that he didn’t quite seem to get. Then we get to Australia where all the girls are staying in the same place, that is awkward enough as it is but the way each girl responded to this didn’t make it any better. Pete takes Hannah Anne first for their date, for me not much to say there about this date. It was a nice date that seemed to solidify their relationship as the sexy silhouette of the two of them closes the date.
Next up we Have Vitoria F’s date and this one I found the most interesting and most frustrating like every other one of their one on ones. This girl is just straight up crazy!!!! I thought this date was going well from the start, I started to kind of enjoy Victoria F even. Then they got to the dinner, this is where shit hit the fan again with her. She goes and tries to explain herself to Peter as to why she is psycho. I was ready for some traumatizing story of her past, a boyfriend wronged her, she was cheated on, I mean anything would have been better than what she said! I couldn’t even remember what she said it was so much nothing. Her story was so vague and she just ended up saying “I don’t know” and “I don’t know what you want from me” over and over again and they got nowhere, per usual, and poor Pete is just wrapped around her fingers walking blind to just how terrible this girl is. Of course, they spend the night together because #HornyPete and that’s the end of that. Oh and I’m not sure if anyone else felt as weird about this as well but when she was sitting there crying about how she loved him so much (don’t want to judge too much but that seemed so fake) what the hell was she doing with her dress?!?! I mean from where I was watching it looked like this girl was straight up flashing her cooch to whoever was she talking to wiping her tears with the bottom of her dress.
In the middle of all of that, we saw an interaction with Hannah Anne and Maddison where she told Hannah Anne about what she discussed with Peter and her expectations of herself and for him as far as fantasy suites were concerned and how she was saving herself for marriage. This was her message to him after last week’s rose ceremony that she would not be able to continue if he spent the night with the other girls. As they all ended up together in the same house again after Victoria came back this was the pinnacle of awkwardness in this episode as we watched Maddison’s psyche unravel as she decided how she would try and deal with this situation.
We get to Maddison’s date and again skipping all the bs pleasantries that I would just skip through if I could. I just want to get to the juicy parts. Maddison brought up her issue with him staying the night with the other girls and how she was saving herself for marriage. Pete gave some lame speech about how he thought that was so pure and amazing and adored her for that but let’s all be honest Pete is our horny Bachelor and he wants to BANG! There have been cuts in previous episodes of him saying how he thought sex was important to him because it is a big part of a relationship. Pete played it safe with his words but ultimately we knew he did not agree and was very much taken aback. Maddison doesn’t seem to be able to handle all of it at the time and decides to leave. I am not sure if she went home or if she just went back to the hotel but that is where the episode pretty much ended.
I will post another blog about my opinion on the whole situation soon but as this episode ended all I can say is I am clueless as to who Pete will end up with and kudos to the producers all season so far from the Chase Rice concert to putting them all in the same house this week. They have outdone themselves this season being diabolical at every step. I can’t wait for women tell all next week and I still hold onto the slight thought that somehow Hannah B comes back again and that’s who he ends up with.
