Kevin Hayes, The Best One, the man who will ultimately help lift this team to the deep playoff run I predicted earlier. This man has not just ice in his veins but his heart is pumping straight liquid nitrogen!
In every instance I can remember this season this man has been Mr. Clutch for the Flyers, he hasn’t put up huge numbers but he has played his roll on this team perfectly. I can see a future of him raising a Conn Smythe trophy and if Giroux is to ever moves on (which i hope he never does) wearing the “c” for the Flyers. The game was not the result I expected when it came to the scoreboard but the Flyers outright dominated the Sharks tonight. The puck movement was like watching one of those “most satisfying videos ever” you see on facebook. The control of play showed signs of future playoff warriors that will just beat tems into the ground. They played old school Flyers hockey and I loved every second of it. I will not be surprised if they hit a 10 game win stretch as the season goes on, When the Flyers are on they are ON and right now they have caught blazing hot fire. I hope the rest of the league is ready for this team to beat every ounce of fight in them because that is what the Flyers will do.
