“Size doesn’t matter its the motion of the ocean” that what they always say right? Well from what I’ve been seeing the motion of the ocean really can rock some of the biggest boats and cause some flooding!
That’s right boys and girls its another sexual innuendo to start off a football blog!
As you could probably guess this will have to do with size, and like I hinted at before it really doesn’t seem to be quite the case that it matters anymore and I think we need to stop talking about it. *cough cough* John Elway (my guy definitely has a type doesn’t he).
The fact we still talk about a quarterbacks heights during the draft process needs to stop, too many elite quarterbacks have proven this to be irrelevant in recent memory. One of the greatest of all time who just recently retired has proved all the short haters very wrong. Drew Brees is the “too short” quarterback king and his crown prince, a true short king Kyler Murray should be the true end to this debate. What he did last Sunday was unreal, granted against a bad Titans D, nevertheless last season I think was enough tape to prove the haters wrong.
I’m well aware a majority of the starting QB’s in the NFL are floating around that 6 foot 5 area but my main point is that every recent quarterback where height was a question the question has been answered, I’d be remised too not mention Mr. Unlimited himself Russell Wilson, that guys, good at football. It’s time for these dumb talking heads who have never played a snap of football to shut up and stop telling us what measurements equal a good quarterback.
