Have you ever been somewhere maybe at your university library, local Starbucks, or just hanging around with friends all studying or doing work together and there is that one person or multiple people who decide that they need to type through their laptop?
Today in my class I was attempting to take notes on my laptop and just could not stay focused because the the kid next to me decided his daily frustration would be taken out right there and in the way of rage against the machine.
Everyone has those little things that really gets to them and I know I can’t be the only one who thinks this.
You have to be so unaware to not realize you are the most annoying person in the room, I am a pen clicker so I understand how annoying I am when I unconsciously do it, recognize it immediately and stop.
Honestly I don’t even want to tell them to stop I want to look deep into their eyes and just ask who hurt them. I want them to know it is ok and there are better ways to handle your anger and you will save yourself a lot of money on laptops when you try and take these other steps. Apple didn’t hurt you, neither did HP, nor did chromebook. We will search each other’s souls and find the true source of your anger so you can quit finger blasting your computer everytime you have school work to do.
But actually maybe these people are actually geniuses, maybe they know the hostile AI take over is coming, they know they need to prepare themselves to defend against the coming war again machines. They are smarter than us we have chosen to laugh it all off as an old movie plot but they know something we don’t know and will be ready when the time comes.
They are a starting slow just aggressively typing to grow the hate for machines or better yet… they go and smash all kinds of technology as a hidden community in their free time and the aggressive typing is just a way to keep the juices flowing, keep them always ready. 50 years from now these will be the hero’s we turn to to at our final moment when we need that final push to come out victorious because they have the hate, and years of preparation for this moment, their moment to go down in history as the saviors of humanity…
Nope that’s definitely not it you’re just a bunch of over caffeinated hipsters who thinks your loud typing makes people oooooh and ahhhh over how fast your are typing and how tech savvy your are but in reality everyone wishes you would go home and keep that kind of behavior behind closed doors.
