This is one of those 1000 IQ plays. The reminds me of all the times when you would see Troy Polamalu time the snap perfectly and jump over the line to sack the quarterback but almost on steroids. I have seen broken plays where pitches can get broken up or intercepted but this is simply I am better than you and I played this perfectly.
If I were the coach and this happened to my team I think you just throw in the towel there is no coming back from this. And even if you are winning the game and go on to win, you did not win that game the after game speach goes something like this “Gentleman we may have won by 21 points today but when we go back an watch the film on this tape, we lost, I’ve never been so embarrassed to be your coach. I don’t care if we win the state championship this will be a spin on this program for the rest of its existence.” Or something like that.
