I would like some engagement on this one either on twitter or in the comments here (honestly I don’t even know if I have comments set up for this blog I was hardly able to even get this set up let alone have comments). Anyway I would like to know everyones least favorite penalty in football, or which penalty just pisses you off the most.
I have come to HATE offensive holding I think for the amount that it happens/it is called the yardage they take for it is ridiculous. It is an absolute drive killer, I feel like I’ve seen it more than ever this year as well. In general I feel like the refs have just been tossing there yellow tissues more than ever.
As an over bettor as well this is just back breaking when you get a run up the middle that breaks for a touchdown then you see that yellow score bug pop up and you just know it coming back for holding and the drive is now ending in a punt.
Some other examples Ive heard are the punt or kickoff return that gets called back for block in the back, False starts just because they suck when your team is down and they can’t just start still, ineligible receiver downfield (I think I just don’t understand this one), and obviously targeting in college football.
